WHAT IS A CAR TRACKER AND HOW IT WORKS?
A car tracker is also known as a GPS tracker i.e., Global Positioning System tracker. These are special devices made for vehicle owners in order for them to monitor their cars, motorbikes and trucks etc. other than that, they can also be used for vehicle fuel tracking, vehicle theft alerts, engine kill and can alert many drivers when they drive above the required speed limit.
A tracker uses micro-waves to connect with a network of satellites to determine the location of the car wherever it may be, the signals are transmitted at 1/360 of a second to the GPS of the vehicle which further passes on the info to the car tracker, simultaneously.
WHAT IS IMPORTANCE OF CAR TRACKERS?
It is always a sensible decision to install a GPS tracker in cars as it gives the drivers and passengers a sense of safety when travelling anywhere and if one gets lost on the way. Moreover, these trackers are environmentally friendly as they prevent carbon dioxide release. If your car becomes a – of theft it will be easily recovered in under 48 hours maximum. Furthermore, instead of calling the service center by the hour to see your location, one can install a mobile app to view the car itself. This way much time and efforts are saved. Finally, due to better fuel management as mentioned above as well drivers cannot be blamed for their behavior and hence the fleet cost is reduced greatly.
